Permission to be a Mom!

Before, on days like this when school was out, I’d have to ask off just to be with MY kids and I hated having someone else have so much control over MY life😕 I didn’t like someone telling me when I could be a Mom.

Yeah I loved my job & the “security” (so i thought😒) it provided but I loved the idea of freedom, being able to come and go as I pleased even more✨.

Now I’m at every school event, field trip, and when they’re sick I get to be there. On days like this, I can be here (even though they’re getting on my last nerve🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤣).

But 2 years ago I’d be working in the field freezing my butt off, or in a cold court room, with my kids 3hrs away at my parents’ house or in somebody’s daycare and now today, I get to work from my cozy warm couch as my kids play at my feet and I didn’t have to ask for permission😌.

So if this is your dream and you’re an entrepreneur. Hang in there! I promise you, it’s soooo worth it!🙌🏾
